About the page...
Pete gets soaked by Clare. If you look at the bottom picture, you can just make out the white ring around Pete's neck as his shirt is wet. If you haven't noticed by now, Pete doesn't want anyone to know about that.
The story thus far...
Grace and Simon, two teenage tearaways, have discovered a passage to Reality in the basement of The tré (a tiny theatre in their miniscule town of Otterstow). Unfortunately, they have accidentally trapped themselves and cannot return, although they do not seem to be in any hurry to do so.
Ignatius (the mayor of Otterstow) suspects this is the case and has enlisted the aid of the parents; Slide, Sandra, Pete and Gina. None of the adults have figured out how to open the passage, which seems to involve a mysterious box that they cannot open.
What's going on right now:
After Clare finishes her portrayal with Pete, Ignatius will take her to Trinova (the capital of The Kingdom) so they can do some research at the library and make some enquiries.

The tré
- . . . as the Otter would always reach a lake or a river, where he could swim much faster than the Bear.
[Bear chases Otter once more across the stage. Otter exits stage, but Bear stops short of offstage.]
-
"Sploosh!" Clare shouted from offstage, throwing a glassful of water at Pete, to the delight of the children. She reasoned that one should take one's amusement where one could, especially in very small, very boring, towns.
- Narrator
- And then, the Naughty Otter would taunt the Bear.
- Otter
[Offstage, taunts Bear. Bear shakes fist and retreats to opposite end of stage]
- Narrator
- This, of course, angered the Bear no end and he was desperate to find a way to stop the Otter. One day, he came across an old wolf's skin.
[Bear re-enters stage holding wolf mask]
- Thinking that the Otter might be more frightened of a wolf, he wore the skin as a disguise as he sat down to his meal.
[Bear dons wolf mask and sits next to pile of food to eat]
